Initial ideas for a new film magazine

Total Film:
- Total film is a British Film magazine, edited by Jane Crowther and first published in January 1997.
- It offers cinema, DVD and Blue Ray news, reviews and features.
- Each month Total film interview directors and actors to make on-set pieces for new and future releases.
- Total films also contains trailers of upcoming films that are going to be released in the future and mention popular films of the year.
- The layout of The film magazine is that at the front of the magazine they only advertise one film with either the star or main characters of the film.
- Total Film has a heading on each magazine with the exact same font every time.
- Total film is also colour coordinated at the front of the magazine.
Empire:
- Empire is a British Film magazine, edited by Barry Mchllheney.
- It is published monthly by Emap.Bauer, however was first issued in July 1989.
- Empire is the most highest selling British film magazine in the UK and has been published in the following countries:
- United States
- Australia
- Turkey
- Russia
- Italy
- Portugal
- Not only does Empire advertise movies but advertises other things such as phones, L'oreal and Bacaradi.
- A regular feature of Empire Masterpiece is the they have a two-page essay on the specific film selected.
Film Comment:
- Film comment is an Amercican Film magazine based in New York City and first found in 1962, film comment then began publishing on a bi-monthly basis. It was edited by Nicolas Rapold.
- They focus on reviews and analysis of mainstreams, and also film making from around the world.
- The covers of film comment are very vague and does not have a lot of details to it.
24 Images:
- 24 images is a French language film magazine published in Canada, and edited by BenoÎt Patar, in 1979. However 24 images changed editors in 1987 to Marie-Claude Loiselle and Claud Racine.
- They have reviews and blogs about the films.
Bianco e Nero:
- Bianco e Nero is an Italian film magazine edited by Luigi Chiarini and published in 1937.
- Because of the war the film magazine was ceased published between 1944 and 1946 and when war finished, resumed in 1947.
